Eight fantastic timed stages that showcase the best of the North’s finest Trail Centre and beyond. Hamsterley Forest’s diverse trail network allows us to bring you one of the most varied events around. With stages that range from super fast flow to chunky, root riddled tech, via loose and rocky rowdiness. Twist and turn through tight tree lined trails, drop down steep rooty staircases and mash across the moor on your way to manic descents.
All of this topped off by one of the most brutal finishing stages around, the notorious Beast stage. A colossal five trail combo that drops you almost the length of the valley back into the arena. You’ve earned that ice cold beer!
This is an inclusive event suitable for anyone comfortable with UK trail centre type trails and is ideal for all experience levels. Whether you’re a gnarled race veteran or you’re just looking to dip your toe into the world of Enduro, there’s something here for everyone. E-bikes, fat bikes, hard tails, full suss, unicycles are all welcome. If you think you can make it round, you can ride it.
Full Beast = 25 miles / 8 stages. Half Beast = 15 miles / 6 stages.
PLEASE NOTE: Entries for riders under 14 will be available via the separate kids event entry system. Any rider under 14 with an adult already entered is guaranteed a place.
Riders will receive times for each stage and one for the over all. Get out there with your mates and experience all the fun things about race day with none of the pressure. This weekend is all about the good times.
Over the years we have together raised over £100,000 in aid of Great North Air Ambulance Service… we would love to do that again! Join us in creating another fantastic event, by riders, for riders.
