Welcome to the fourth in this year’s Summer Terrain Series of 5 races.
Brathay Hall is a new area for orienteering - terrain description TBC! It's just south-west of Ambleside.
Unsure which course to enter? The Long and Short courses will both be a technical course, designed for experienced orienteers, not for beginners! The Yellow course is great for beginners and children, while the Orange course will be a little more challenging.
We encourage those less experienced to run in pairs or groups – it is a good way to start orienteering. To do this, enter the event using one person’s name (e.g. the junior in a junior+adult pair) and please add the names of everyone accompanying in the ‘Additional names and ages’ box when you enter. You can also request extra maps, if required.
