THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE VIA THE ORANGE BUTTON ABOVE. WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Start window: 430pm to 730pm. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

This one has everything! A great Town & Country Spunch area from a super Buxton town centre venue. A complete blend of beautiful parkland, woodland, and open hill country with great views and all connected by interesting urban sections between. Hilly options and less hilly options - something for all the family during the half-term school holidays.
With an extended 430pm to 730pm start window, treats for the kids and route options suitable for younger kids this will be a good one to get the family out for during the school holidays.
Thursday early evening Spunch from the Buxton Brewery Tap House, George Street, Buxton SK17 6AY.
60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the evening itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Tap House. A daylight evening Spunch event for runners & walkers. Very family friendly & dog friendly too.
Within 30 mins from Leek, Macclesfield, Bollington, Disley, New Mills, Whaley, Chapel, Glossop, Bakewell & Ashbourne.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 430pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 430pm.
Navigating with an enhanced and enlarged 1:12,500 OS map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Will you take on Corbar Hill & Woods in the North or Grin Low & Buxton Country Park in the South? OR Both! Don't forget the easy pickings in the delightful Pavillion Gardens, as well you will need to explore some of the the town's quiet streets, snickets and some off-road trails through local green spaces. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Buxton Brewery Tap House will provide a warm welcome with a great vibe and excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk. With a fantastic selection of Cask & Craft Ales, the Tap House has both indoor and (weather permitting) outdoor eating and drinking areas. The pub is child & dog friendly.
With around 80 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?
Convenient and inexpensive town centre and street-side car parking all within 2-10 mins walk. Some FREE parking is also available on nearby street / road sides.
Catch the Spunch Train. Buxton train station is just 5 mins flat walk from the Tap House, and it is well served by direct Trains from Manchester, Stockport and all stations on the Manchester to Buxton line.
