THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE VIA THE ORANGE BUTTON ABOVE. WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Start Window: 530pm to 730pm Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants. Please enter early for the best rates and to help with planning for maps, parking, event officials and catering.

Wednesday evening Street & Trail Spunch from the Wheatsheaf Hotel, 19 Green End, Whitchurch, SY13 1AD.
60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Wheatsheaf Hotel. A daylight evening Spunch event for runners & walkers. Family friendly & dog friendly too.
We are back at the Wheatsheaf in Whitchurch, Shropshire just a few weeks after our first visit in March. This time the event will be in late May evening daylight from start to finish! Although the pub will be the same and the map will be more-or-less the same, this time it will all be in daylight AND we will be re-jigging some (but not all) the Spunchpoints to keep you thinking!
So, for those of you who came to "Whitchurch 1" this will be a different challenge - maybe a chance to explore a different part of Whitchurch, apply lessons learned or bring along family & friends this time too?
There will also be a different menu on offer, and (hopefully) the opportunity to enjoy the lovely sunny Wheatsheaf beer garden.
Within 30 mins from M6 J16 it is reasonably convenient for the Potteries & Newcastle-under-Lyme and very handy for the surrounding area including Crewe, Nantwich , Tarporley, Wrexham, Malpas, Ellesmere, Wem, Shrewsbury, Market Drayton and Audlem etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 530pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 530pm.
Navigating with an enhanced and simplified 1:10,500 OO street map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore the town's quiet streets, snickets and some off-road trails through local green spaces. Not a hilly one this and lots to explore. As well as finding your way around the town centre, you might also visit Jubilee Park, or the southern end of the Sandstone Trail around Staggs Brook and Waterway Park. Maybe a section of the old railway line on Hatton Way? Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Wheatsheaf Hotel will provide a warm welcome with excellent Food & Drink and a super sunny outdoor area available after your run / walk. The pub is child & dog friendly.
With around 80 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?
Convenient and inexpensive town centre car parking all within 5 mins walk (60p per hour. FREE after 6pm)
Catch the Spunch Train. Whitchurch train station is less than 1k flat walk from the Wheatsheaf, and it is well served by trains from Crewe, Nantwich and Shrewsbury .
