THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE VIA THE ORANGE BUTTON ABOVE. WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Rolling start - Start time to suit you, anytime between 530pm and 730pm. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Wednesday evening Street Spunch from the Big Lock, Webb's Lane, Middlewich, CW10 9DN.
60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Big Lock Pub & Restaurant. Urban Street Spunch in the dark for runners & walkers. Family friendly & dog friendly too.
Our night-time no-mud* Street Spunch Series continues - this time in salt-of-the-earth Middlewich, Cheshire. Less than 10 mins from M6 J18 it is very convenient for the Potteries, Crewe, Nantwich , Sandbach, Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Knutsford, Northwich, Winsford & Tarporley etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 530pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 530pm. Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch!
Navigating with an enhanced and simplified 1:10,000 OO street map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore the town's quiet streets and snickets and well surfaced trails through the town's green spaces. Not a hilly one this but lots to explore including interesting sections of the well-surfaced Trent & Mersey and Shropshire Union canal tow paths, the town centre, the Roman Fort area, and some other green corridors around the town. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Big Lock is a super venue with excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk - including a Spunch Special Chicken or Veg Curry for £10.95. There is also the opportunity to take part in the pub quiz whilst you refuel. The pub is child friendly. Well behaved dogs welcome too.
With around 80 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?
Less than 10 mins from M6 J18. Ample free and convenient street side parking all within 5mins walk.
Catch the Spunch Train. The closest train stations are Winsford and Sandbach. Both about a 10 minute cab ride away.
