The Poacher Enduro is a fun 5 stage mashup 1 day race at Well Vale close to Alford. Set in a 150 acre woodland, there will be 5 timed stages ranging from flow to tech, chunky and rooty to smooth and fast. One stage will have a big air lander ramp. The emphasis is on having fun.
This is an inclusive event suitable for anyone comfortable with UK trail centre type trails and is ideal for all experience levels. Whether you’re a gnarled race veteran or you’re just looking to dip your toe into the world of Enduro, there’s something here for everyone. E-bikes, fat bikes, hard tails, full suss, unicycles are all welcome. If you think you can make it round, you can ride it.
Riders will receive times for each stage and an aggregate time for the best run on each stage. Get out there with your mates and experience all the fun things about race day with none of the pressure. This weekend is all about the good times.
Overnight camping is available on the Saturday.
E-Bikes: Must conform to UK regulation Your bike must have pedals.
Okay, that’s fairly obvious. But anything that doesn’t actually have pedals capable of propelling it can’t be classed as an e-bike under UK law. Motor: 250W maximum. Your e-bike must have a motor with a continuous rated power of no more than 250W. Maximum assistance speed:
15.5mph. The electrical assistance must cut-off when the vehicle reaches
15.5 mph. That’s effectively the same as the EU law, which limits it to 25km/h.
