Rolling start - Start time to suit you, anytime between 12pm and 2pm.

Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more.  Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult.

Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21.

Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission.

A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Saturday daytime countryside Spunch from Dunham Massey Village Hall, School Lane, Dunham Massey, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 5SE.  (Rescheduled from January due to flooding).

60/90/120 min score course options (choose on the day itself).  Free Parking, Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Village Hall.  Daylight countryside Spunch for runners & walkers in beautiful rural Cheshire countryside.  Family friendly & dog friendly too. 

We return to one of our favourite venues - Dunham Massey Village Hall.  As well as providing the full Village Hall vibe it is also very easy to get to being just 7 mins from M56 J7.

Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike.  4k to 24k, the choice is yours!   Great for families and friends to do together.  Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers.  Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

Start at your convenience anytime between 12pm & 2pm.  (Last start for 120min course 130pm).  Registration open from 12pm.

Navigating with an enlarged and enhanced 1:15,000 OS Explorer map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.

Explore the area's rich network of excellent trails and paths.  Mostly flat and fast, you might find yourself exploring sections of the Trans Pennine Trail, the Cheshire Ring Canal Walk, paths alongside the River Bollin, or of course within the National Trust's beautiful Dunham Park.  Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!  

Afternoon Tea/Coffee and hand-crafted cakes available in the Village Hall after your run / walk.  The Village Hall is very family-friendly.  Well behaved dogs welcome too. 

With over 60 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?

Less than 7 mins from M56 J7,  and within 15 mins from M6 J19/20 & M60 J4/5.  The Village Hall is within very easy reach of much of Greater Manchester, Warrington, Lymm, Knutsford, Northwich, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, Congleton, Macclesfield, Poynton, Bramhall, Wilmslow etc. etc.

Ample and FREE on-site parking (overflow to roadside). 

Catch the Spunch Train!  Dunham Massey Village Hall is within 4k flattish walk from the very well served Altrincham Train & Tram station (10 mins by Uber).
