🌿 Welcome to the 2nd Annual LRC Tees Trailtastic! 🌿
Looking for an off-road adventure rather than a race? Tees Trailtastic 2025 is the perfect chance to hit the trails, challenge yourself, and soak up the stunning County Durham countryside.
🏃♀️ NEW for 2025: Two scenic trail distances!
✅ 9-Mile Circular Course – A rolling route along the beautiful Teesdale Way, 95% off-road with gentle inclines and descents.
✅ 3.5-Mile Course – A shorter but equally stunning trail, following the same path before looping back just before the river crossing.
📍 Event Details:
Date: Sunday, 22nd June
Start/Finish: TCR Hub, Barnard Castle
The 9mile event will start at 9am
The 3.5mile event will start at 9.15am
We are delighted to announce that there will be spot prizes on the day for both events thanks to prizes from Acorn Dairy, John Flinn Physiotherapy, Precision Fuel & Hydration and LifeJacket Skin Protection. We will pick winners via their race number.
Post event Yoga led by Yoga teacher Susie from Long Run Collective. There will be three short post run yoga sessions on the grass (weather permitting) so you can relax and unwind after your run. These will be at approximately 10am, 10.45am and 11.30am.
Every finisher receives an exclusive LRC Tees Trailtastic memento and we will be doing some spot prizes on the day.
Facilities: Toilets available at the race HQ. There is paid car parking available at Teesdale School which is next to the HUB (£5 to park) or there are limited free car parking places available around the town. We are sorry but there are no changing facilities at the TCR Hub - please leave valuables in your car or with a spectator.
Cut-off Time: 3 hours (walk-runners welcome!)
Both courses will be marshalled and sign posted so you do not need to worry about getting lost.
Aid Stations: There are two aid stations (one for the 3.5mile and two for the 9mile runners) with water and fuel and hydration thanks to Precision Fuel & Hydration. Feel free to carry your own nutrition!
