THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE.... WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

A Sandbach Christmas Lights Special. 60/90 min score course options. Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Swan & Chequers. Urban Street Spunch in the dark for runners & walkers. Family friendly too.
Our night-time no-mud* Street Spunch Series continues - this time in Sandbach. A particularly nice one this given that the Sandbach Christmas Lights will be making the town centre look super-lovely! And from the excellent town-centre Swan & Chequers, we will make sure the town centre itself is fully-loaded with well-illuminated SpunchPoints!
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 20k, the choice is yours! Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 530pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 7pm). Registration open from 530pm. Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch!
Navigating with an enhanced and simplified 1:10,000 OO street map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore the area's quiet streets and snickets and well surfaced trails through the town's green spaces. Visit the Crosses in the town square, Brook Wood and more (weather permitting). Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
Excellent Food & Drink available in the Swan & Chequers after your run / walk. The pub is child friendly. Well behaved dogs welcome too.

Just 5 mins from M6 J17, the event centre is conveniently located for Crewe, Nantwich, Alsager, Kidsgrove, the Potteries, Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Winsford, Middlewich etc. Ample and convenient parking within 5mins walk.
Catch the Spunch Train! The Swan & Chequers 2.5k flat walk from Sandbach Train Station which is well served by direct trains from Crewe and Manchester.
