*SPUNCH* Alsager & the Salt Line

Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

60/90 min score course options. Free Parking, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Wilbraham Arms. Town & Country Spunch in the dark for runners & walkers. Family friendly too.
Our night-time no-mud* Spunch Series continues - this time in Alsager.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 15k, the choice is yours! Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 545pm & 7pm. Registration open from 530pm. Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch!
Navigating with an enhanced and simplified 1:10,000 OO street map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore the area's quiet streets and snickets and well surfaced trails through the town's green spaces. Visit the Mere, Milton Park, bits of the old Salt Line (weather permitting) and more. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
Drinks and sensibly priced food available in the Wilbraham after your run / walk. The pub is child friendly. Well behaved dogs welcome too.

Just 10 mins from M6 J16 & J17, the event centre is conveniently located for Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Kidsgrove, the Potteries, Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Winsford, Middlewich etc. Ample and convenient parking adjacent to the pub.
Catch the Spunch Train! The Wilbraham Arms is a 2k flat walk from Alsager Train Station which is well served by direct trains from Crewe, Stoke and beyond.
