*SPUNCH* Holly Bush, Denford near Leek
Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Minimum age 14. Juniors aged 14-17 go for free but must run with a parent or guardian over 21. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Saturday Afternoon Countryside Spunch Event - 1/2/3 hour score course options exploring the undulating countryside just south of Leek. Parking, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the excellent canal side pub - The Holly Bush, Denford Road, Leek ST13 7JT.
Navigating with an enhanced and enlarged OS Map.
Just south of Leek and north west of Stoke-on-Trent. Within 30 mins from M6 junctions 15-17. Within 30 mins of Congleton, Macclesfield, Buxton, Ashbourne, Stone etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers.
Start anytime between 1230 pm & 2pm. Registration open from 1230pm. (1hr course first start 1pm. 3hr course last start 130pm)
3k to 33k, the choice is yours!
Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A new Spunch venue and area centred on the excellent Holly Bush Inn, sandwiched between the two branches of the very scenic Caldon Canal in this little know area of beautiful countryside. With both hilly and less hilly options available, you might visit both Deep Hayes and Ladderedge Country Parks, or explore sections of the Churnet (Valley) Way or Staffordshire Way, using the canal towpaths in between. Even locals may discover parts that they don't normally reach!
Parking immediately adjacent to the pub event centre. Food and drink from the pub after your run / walk, to be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors (weather permitting).
With 60+ Spunchpoints to go for, and a 3 hour option to consider, could you get the lot?!
