THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 can go for free but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Saturday Afternoon Countryside Spunch Event - 1/2/3 hour score course options exploring the South Cheshire countryside around the lovely village of Wybunbury (pronounced Win-bury). Bag drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the excellent village Pub - The Swan Inn, 2 Main Rd, Wybunbury, Nantwich CW5 7NA
Navigating with an enhanced and enlarged OS Map.
Near to Crewe and Nantwich. About 10 mins from M6 J16 ( and 20 mins from M6 J15 & J17)
The event centre is immediately adjacent to Wybunbury's quirky 15th century leaning 100 ft high bell tower - and with a rare opportunity to visit and climb the tower's steps and get spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. Maybe suss out the lie of the land before or after your run? (Tower trip details below)
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start anytime between 1230 pm & 2pm. Registration open from 1230pm. (1hr course first start 1pm. 3hr course last start 130pm)
3k to 33k, the choice is yours!
Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A new Spunch venue and area - we bring you rural South Cheshire countryside paths, trails and quiet lanes. Even locals may discover parts that they don't normally reach!
Parking within the village and close to the pub event centre. Food and drink from the lunchtime menu available from the pub after your run / walk, to be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors (weather permitting).
A particularly good one for families, friends and newcomers as the terrain is more "gentle" than some of our recent hillier outings.
With around 100 Spunchpoints to go for, and a 3 hour option to consider, could you get the lot?!

The adjacent Leaning Tower of Wybunbury will be open for "Tower Trips" from 12noon to 5pm, with 30minute guided trips starting on the hour and half-hour. The trips up the tower are excellent and very informative - very much recommended and are a bargain at £3 minimum donation which goes towards the ongoing restoration and maintenance of this local landmark. You will love climbing the ancient stone spiral steps, the views from the top and the parallels with the leaning tower of Pisa! (no children aged under 8 sorry)
