4 planned routes with all indoor checkpoints this year (subject to route approval).
10, 17, 23 and 30 mile options.
Registration opens: 07:00. Coffee, tea, squash and biscuits available before the start.
23 and 30 mile walkers start: 08:00
All runners and 10 and 17 mile route walkers start: 09:00
All to finish by 19:00, 30 mile walkers to finish by 19:30
Light refreshment at checkpoints.
Hot food, hot and cold drinks at the finish.
Please bring the route description, map and a mug as none will be provided at the start.
Please refer to C&D LDWA website for required kit to be carried.
Entrants must be able to read a map and follow compass bearings and must have sufficient knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills to take part in this walk in all conditions and especially in the event of bad weather.
All routes will be covered by the OS Explorer OL28 Dartmoor (1:25,000).
Routes currently awaiting results of National Park Authority consultation and may be amended prior to the event. Routes will have been agreed with the Dartmoor National Park Authority and must be kept to at all times.
We apologise but unfortunately dogs (other than registered disability assistance dogs) cannot be allowed to participate in the event.
All entrants will be emailed links for the route descriptions and GPX files. The route description must be used in conjunction with the GPX and a map.
Certificates will be given on the day to all those who complete the walk.
