THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT Under 18s who go for free with a paying adult. Minimum age 14. Juniors aged 14-17 go for free but must run with a parent or guardian over 21. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Tuesday Evening Spunch Event in collaboration with Disley Runners. 60/90/120 min hilly score course options using a rich network of public rights of way, concessionary paths and open access land. Navigating with an enlarged and enhanced extract of OS Explorer map. Parking, Registration, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at or very near to the Rams Head, Buxton Road W, Disley, Stockport, SK12 2AE.
A proper mid-week adventure on the westernmost fringes of the Peak District National Park yet within very easy reach of the whole of Manchester and the surrounding conurbations. Within 25mins of the M60 at Stockport, Bramhall, Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Buxton & Glossop etc.
Disley Train Station is adjacent to the event centre - a 40min train journey from Manchester Piccadilly.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for fell runners, trail runners, park runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages 14+ and all abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. No dogs allowed on your run/walk at this one sorry.
Start anytime between 5:45pm & 7pm. Registration open from 5:30pm.
120 min course participants must start before 6:30pm.
2k to 22k, the choice is yours!
Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
The Rams Head provides excellent access to get straight out into hill country. With more than 60 Spunchpoints (checkpoints) spread out over an area of about 9 sq km there will be plenty of options to keep you interested and challenged. There will checkpoints both within and outside the majestic Lyme Park, with good running / walking on well defined trails, and some more challenging off-piste options.
Food and drink will be available at the Rams Head after your run / walk. With a full range of drinks from the bar, and both indoor & outdoor eating areas, there will be opportunities to compare routes and share success stories!
