THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE USING THE FINAL DETAILS BUTTON ABOVE. WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT Under 18s who go for free with a paying adult. Minimum age 14. Juniors aged 14-17 go for free but must run with a parent or guardian over 21. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Tuesday Evening Spunch Event - 60/90/120 min hilly score course options using a rich network of public rights of way, and navigating with an enlarged and enhanced extract of OS Explorer map. Big views from Billinge Hill - known locally as the Lump! The highest point in Merseyside - it is one of England's 176 Marilyns you know? On a clear evening catch views to Snowdonia, Liverpool, Manchester & Blackpool Tower.
Come and discover the rich network of paths, tracks and trails in the countryside on and around Billinge Hill - rarely visited other than by locals - will you visit the square beacon on top?
Food & Drink available at the Eagle & Child after you have finished. A full range of drinks from the bar. Chilli & Cheese Nachos for just a £5er. Veggie option also available.
A great opportunity to refuel, compare routes and chat with friends & rivals old and new in this village pub with its west facing beer garden in the late evening sun (fingers crossed!)
Run, jog or walk - suitable for fell runners, trail runners, park runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages 14+ and all abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. No dogs allowed on your run/walk at this one sorry.
Start anytime between 6:30pm & 7:30pm. Registration open from 6:00pm.
70+ Spunchpoints to choose from, spread out in the countryside, lanes and streets immediately accessible from the Pub. You will find lots of route choice on a network of paths, tracks and minor lanes. The area of about 9 sq km offers options at lower levels for the less adventurous. For those seeking a challenge, some steepish paths & tracks further afield.
2k to 22k, the choice is yours!
Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
