Introduction to navigating in the dark

Dunnerdale Fells, South Lakes, (6-10pm)

In darkness, even the simplest navigation become a different ballgame. Improve your navigation confidence and lose the fear of being lost.

We'll start our workshop in daylight and then move into darkness. We can use the tools of navigation to 'feel' the land and use navigation tools which allow us to safely and accurately find our way in poor visibility.

This workshop is a perfect practice session if you are working towards a Mountain Leader qualification or for your Silver or Gold level NNAS Certificate.
