DR30 Tan Hill Loop Recce

Join us for a recce of the Tan Hill Loop section of the DR30. This event is open to everyone; you do not have to be entered in the race to take part.
From Tan Hill, the route follows the Pennine Way back to the water falls at Kisdon. Here we will follow the Coast to Coast route to Ravenseat. The route then crosses the moor, passing Robert’s Seat and Thomas Gill Hill to arrive back at The Tan Hill Inn.
Highlights include:
- Lead by a qualified Hill and Moorland Leader
- Small group of 15
- Optional pub visit after the run
- GPX available
Level 3 – 10 miles – 1560ft of ascent
Moderate, this will involve walking up the steeper ascents but sustaining a jog pace (10-12 minute miles) on the flatter sections.
Estimated time: 2-2.5 hours
Start: 9.45am meet for a 10am start
