THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE USING THE FINAL DETAILS BUTTON ABOVE. WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT Under 18s who go for free with a paying adult. Minimum age 14. Juniors aged 14-17 go for free but must run with a parent or guardian over 21. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Saturday afternoon Spunch Event - 60/90/120min hilly score course options using a network of public rights of way and open access land, and navigating with an enlarged and enhanced extract of OS Explorer map. Free parking, Registration, Loos, Start, Finish, and refreshments all at The Greyhound Inn, Leek Road, Warslow, Buxton SK17 0JN.
15 mins east of Leek, 20mins south of Buxton, 20mins north of Ashbourne. 35-45mins from M6 J14-18. 40mins from the Potteries and within 1 hour of Manchester, Sheffield & Derby.
Discover the beautiful paths / trails, scenery and views in this rarely visited corner of North Staffs in the south western part of the Peak District.
Food & Drink available at the Greyhound after you have finished. Choose from a meat or veggie chilli special (£8) or eat from the normal menu. A wide range of drinks including the Greyhound's own pub-brewed ale.
A great opportunity to refuel, compare routes and chat with friends & rivals old and new in this lovely country pub.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for fell runners, trail runners, park runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages 14+ and all abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. No dogs allowed on your run/walk at this one sorry.
Start anytime between 1pm & 2pm. Registration open from 12:30pm.
60+ Spunchpoints to choose from, spread out in countryside immediately accessible from the Pub. You will find lots of route choice on a network of paths, tracks and minor lanes. The area of about 9 sq km offers plenty at low(ish) level for the less adventurous, including woodland paths and the Manifold Valley Trail. For those seeking a challenge, some exciting steepish grassy terrain, and open access route choices on the old copper-mined hill sides of Ecton Hill - stunning views all round!
2k to 22k, the choice is yours! There will be no shortage of opportunities for climbs and descents for the hill-seekers amongst you!
Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
