The Rings of the Roses

The Rings of the Roses ride is a mini sportive organised by Blackburn & District CTC.
There will be two rides, 100mile and 100km, both starting from Grindleton Pavillion. Both the 100mile and 100km routes will venture from Grindleton (Lancashire), into Yorkshire and back, taking on relatively quiet minor roads, with some great scenery and the odd challenging climb thrown in.
● Grindleton Pavilion, Sawley Road, Grindleton, Clitheroe, BB7 4QS (Sat Nav: BB7 4RP).
● 8:30am start, cut off 6:30pm (no recovery/sweeping option)
● Parking and toilets facilities.
● Tea, cakes and sandwiches available afterwards.
The minimum age criteria is 16, however younger riders will be allowed to enter, provided they are accompanied on the day (and throughout the ride) by an appropriate adult/guardian.
This is not a race, however riders will be required to sign in and out of the event with the time difference recorded and uploaded to (www.blackburncycling.club or www.blackburnctc.org) on completion of the event .
The latest cut off time will be 5pm and there will be no recovery/sweeping option (this is a completely self support event) and no food/support during the ride.
