Parking will be at the main car park, but this is limited, so please arrange to car share if at all possible! This is a busy forest with lots of other users including horse riders. The turning circle is needed to be kept clear for 4x4s pulling horse boxes. If the car park is full, park responsibly on the road, making sure not to block gateways, entrances and allowing space for farm machinery to pass

Registration – Not required if using own SI Card - proceed directly to start. Hire cards can be collected from the Organiser at the MOO.

Starts –  Start times are in 15min blocks with up to 20 runners at each start area.

Finish & Download: After finishing proceed to the MOO and then disperse to maintain social distancing.

Coronavirus Safety Measures

This event is organised within the Covid regulations laid down by the NI Government and British Orienteering.

Currently there are no restrictions around Covid and sporting events however as safety and wellbeing are core to the sport of orienteering we retain the following measures and advice:

Try not to touch the SI Control boxes except with the SI Card
During the race please be aware of who is around you and try to maintain distance especially when approaching Controls
As we are using public parks please be mindful of other park users and give them space
Wash your hands or use hand sanitiser after your race and before handling food
If car sharing with people outside of your household, we recommend keeping the vehicle well ventilated

IMPORTANT You MUST NOT attend the activity if:

You are unwell with a cough, fever or have had other Covid symptoms or first tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 5 days (3 days for children).
If you have a condition that makes you Clinically Vulnerable, please follow current government and medical advice before registering.

SI Air will be enabled on controls -  so SIACs may be used. However, it is up to individuals to ensure that their SIACs are working before the event and that they beep at each control.

If you need to withdraw your entry due to circumstances we will refund your entry fee on request less £3 for unrecoverable costs.
