TVOC welcomes you to Hodgemoor Woods. When we last had an event here in late April, the bluebells looked fantastic - we hope you will again be greeted by a carpet of blue in some parts of the wood.
This event is a part of the SCOA league (SCOL7), and also incorporates a qualifying round for the inter-club Yvette Baker Trophy and Shield (YBT/S) competitions for junior club teams. But if you have never been orienteering before, don't let this put you off. Whilst there are a range of courses for experienced orienteers with high navigational challenge, we also have a range of short and medium length courses available. These have less complex navigational challenges and are specifically designed for newcomers to the sport. Help and advice will be available.
White, Yellow, Orange and Red courses can be run as a family/small group if you prefer.
UPDATE 15 APRIL Our overflow car park has been withdrawn because the ground is very wet. We have therefore had to restrict entries to 350. Please share cars with a fellow competitor if at all possible.
