Indoor Orienteering Experience @ Glasgow Caledonian University

With the Entry Window having to be truncated to 6:30pm > 7:35pm, further entries on Long shall now be inserted at 30 second intervals. This may also have to be extended to Medium where there are currently 53 entries - Max 66 @ minute intervals is possible.

With the draft EURO City Race courses now available, competitors must check that their SI finger has enough capacity to cope as detailed below. If not please amend your entry and hire an SIAC finger.

If your SI Number falls between 1 to 499,999 and from 2,000,000 to 2,999,999 i.e. types 5 and 8 and you are entered on Courses 1 or 2 your finger will not have the capacity to record all controls ; Course 3 runners with non- SIAC are very close to the limit.

Course 1 - MO - 46 controls.  Course 2 - WO MV - 43 controls.    Course 3 - WV MSV 29 controls.

Course 4 - WSV MUV 26 controls.      Course 5 - WUV MHV WHV 20 controls.

Course 6 - 10 controls.     Course 7 - 6 controls.

This is not relevant for The Friday Evening GCAL Experience.

 Tuesday 10th April

Entries after 23:00 on Sunday 28th April shall depend on map availability and subject to an additional £1 surcharge.

STAG is delighted to host the 1st Race in the 2024 City Race European Tour (CRET) on Sunday 12th May and to supplement this with the Indoor Experience at Glasgow Caledonian University and a 2 Person Relay Team Sprint Race and an Individual Sprint Race in Kelvingrove Park.

The Sprint Race on Saturday is planned by WOC Planner, Graeme Ackland (INT) and shall be preceded by a 2 Person Team Sprint Relay open to all - Elite/National Teams, Open and Ad Hoc Teams again planned by Graeme.

All venues are within 2k of Glasgow City Centre.

10th May – Glasgow Caledonian University G4 0JE.
11th May – Kelvingrove Park and Glasgow University G3 8AG.
12th May – Glasgow City Centre & Glasgow Green G5 0JP.
