Terrain description: -Fast, runnable exposed open fell (above 300m on all courses), boggy in places. Extensive path network. Heavily used by dog walkers and mountain bikers, not all paths will be mapped. Limited rock features but extensive small and very large depressions
Start: about 1.7km with 90m climb on footpaths. The finish is approximately 300m from the start.
Courses (subject to final controlling):
> Yellow 2.2km 35m climb
> Orange 2.6km 40m
> Light Green 3.6km 65m
> Very Short Green 2.3km 35m
> Short Green 3.3km 50m
> Green 4.8km 90m
> Blue 6.6km 120m
> Brown 9.2km 190m
Blue and Brown at 1:10,000 map scale, with the other courses at 1:7,500
Starts: 10.30 – 12.30, courses close 14.30
Dogs: - Well behaved dogs are allowed in the parking area and in assembly. Please be aware that there are sheep in the field. No dogs on courses please.
Pre-entry only except for the Yellow and Orange courses where there will be some entry on the day subject to map availability.
