£9.00 LDWA £11.00 Non LDWA (Children under 16 accompanied by an adult are welcome, and entry is free). 

Entry on the day is £15 if available.

Aim: Walk or run one of three circular walks of  10, 17 or 21 miles (15, 27 or 34 kms).  All routes converge at the main refreshment checkpoint so shorten or lengthen them on the day if you wish.

Registration/Start & Finish: The Leggers Inn, Mill Street East, Dewsbury, West Yorks. WF12 9BD (GR SE249207).  Registration opens from 8.00am. 

Start time: Mass start at 9.00am.  Late start: 10.00am (10 mile route only)

Maps required: Explorer 278 & 288.

Entrants:  Both LDWA and non-LDWA  walkers & runners are welcome.  U-18s must be LDWA members or walk with parent/guardian.  U-16s must walk with parent/guardian.  Dogs:  Allowed but under constant control.

Entry includes: Tea & toast at registration, cold drinks & snacks at checkpoints and finisher certificate.

Bring your own mug to use on the event.

In relation to any person who has a dietary condition or food allergy. It is your responsibility to identify this and take relevant precautions in regards to what you consume at the event..The organiser cannot say whether the food it supplies will have been in contact with any allergen during its manufacture or preparation and is not responsible for your own actions in regards to its consumption.

Reasonably priced food and a superb selection of real ales, are available at the Leggers Inn, at the end of the walk.

Equipment: As this is a winter event, please ensure that you carry adequate equipment, including waterproofs, warm clothing, suitable footwear, map, compass, whistle and torch.

Participants who retire from the event, must do so at a checkpoint. Marshals have the right to withdraw participants if their fitness is in doubt or if they are behind schedule.
