The new Carsington Hill Race on the evening of Friday 7th June - part of Carsington Village Festival, organised by Carsington & Hopton CARE in aid of the development of village facilities. Sponsored by Longcliffe.
Registration from 6pm on Friday 7th June in the Village Hub at St Margaret’s Church, in Carsington Village.
Start at 7pm
The route features a downhill start and finish and a tour of the ancient mined landscape and modern turbines of Carsington Pasture, with views across the Peak District and Carsington Water. It includes steep hills, rough pasture, footpaths, tracks and two road crossings.

NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE RACE.
It is 9.5 km/6 miles, with 267m/875ft of ascent. It will be run under FRA rules. FRA Race Licence Number 2024-9020. Minimum age 17.
Food, cake and bar available before and afterwards at the Village Hub in St Margaret’s Church.
