Join us for a guided recce on the Pennine Journey 112 route.
This recce will start at Greenhead and run over to Alston via Blenkinsopp common on the Pennine Way/Pennine Journey then on to Alston via the the Pennine Journey/Tyne Trail . You'll be guided by our team of ambassadors and supported via vehicle at key locations.
You must carry your own kit, hydration and nutrition and of course wear clothing appropriate to the weather forecast.
We will provide transport back to Greenhead, either by car sharing or by bus.
We will support you with water, and trail snacks at Slaggyford, where there will be a checkpoint during the actual event.
This recce is open to anyone, and you don't need to be entered in the event to attend. Those attending the recce who are yet to enter the event will be issued with a discount code which can be redeemed against an event entry in either of the Pennine Journey events (52 or 112)
Please car share to Greenhead as there is limited on street parking.
