THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED.

WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY.

IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY!   ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN UNTIL THE LAST START TIME AT 12 NOON SUNDAY.

Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more.  Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT Under 18s who go for free with a paying adult.

Minimum age 14.  Juniors aged 14-17 go for free but must run with a parent or guardian over 21.

A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Sunday Spunch Event - 60/90/120min hilly score course options using a network of public rights of way and open access land, and navigating with an enlarged and enhanced extract of OS Explorer map.  Free parking, Registration, Loos, Start, Finish, and refreshments all at the Swathamley & Heaton Centre, Gun End, Macclesfield, SK11 0SJ.  Just 20mins from Macclesfield, 15mins from Leek and 35 mins from J17-18 M6.

Discover the beautiful paths / trails, scenery and views in this rarely visited corner of North Staffs in the western part of the Peak District.

Cake, Tea & Coffee etc all available at sensible cost in the Hall after you have finished.  A great opportunity to refuel, compare routes and chat with friends & rivals old and new in the warmth of this lovely community Hall.  

Run, jog or walk - suitable for fell runners, trail runners, park runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike.  Great for families and friends to do together.  Suitable for all ages 14+ and all abilities - lots of help available for newcomers.  No dogs allowed on your run/walk at this one sorry.  

Start anytime between 11am and 12pm.  Registration open from 10:30am.

50ish Spunchpoints to choose from, spread out in countryside immediately accessible from the Hall.  You will find lots of route choice on a network of paths, tracks and minor lanes.  The area of about 9 sq km offers both modest undulating options and more challenging hillier options over a wider area for those who prefer a longer outing up to 2 hours.  2k to 22k, the choice is yours!  There will be no shortage of opportunities for climbs and descents for the hill-seekers amongst you!  

Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
