The Steel City 30 is the second half of the Steel City 60. With 30 undulating miles clocking up 3901ft of ascent, this is a challenging ultra distance race along some amazing trails in the Peak District and the Northern boundary of Sheffield.
Setting off at 1pm from All Saints Church, Totley (half way feed station on the Steel City 60) and finishing at modern sports facilities at St Georges Park in Thorncliffe, the route ascends Totley Moor, Burbage Edge and Stanage Edge in the first 10 amazing miles!
Entry options:
- Walk Solo for 30 miles
- Run Solo for 30 miles
Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Females and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Males.

This is a challenging distance with challenging terrain. Entrants are expected to have experience with such events including an ability to map read and navigate. Whilst the route follows much of the waymarked Sheffield Country Walk, the route is not marked for 30 miles.
As this is a linear event, entrants will need to park at the event venue (finish) and make their own travel arrangements to get to the start. We will help facilitate car sharing/taxi's/coach/minibus dependent upon requirements, which will be at the cost of the entrant.
