THE COURSE

The route, will begin with a lap of the perimeter of the rugby pitch opposite LMLC turning left on to the footpath between the football pitches and Willow Walk.
You will then run across one field and the bridge over the River Creedy turning right on to the footpath alongside the NE bank of the river, continuing along the footpaths to the lane near Westacott and turning right.
Continue for 200m along the lane to a footpath on the left.
Ascend the hill by the footpath, emerging on to the lane that runs between Shobrooke Cross and Camps Cross. Turn right along the lane, and then after 150m, turn left onto a footpath across two fields to emerge on to Wyke Hill.
Turn right along the lane to Shobrooke Mill where the Water Station will be situated (Halfway point).
Turning left at the Mill, run along the path through the woodland and cross the small bridge across the stream known as Shobrooke Lake, and then run through the fields initially running approx. 0.7 km north and then 0.7 km west towards Shobrooke Barton and Church. (You should pass the tree with the rope swing during this section.)
Emerge on to Church Lane and follow the lane south, then west to the road near the war memorial entering Shobrooke Park by the top gate.
Run down the avenue of trees to the track near South Lodge turning left on to the road by the park gate adjacent to South Lodge.
Cross the road and run down the lane towards Westacott.
