British Sprint Championships

A 2-part sprint with Qualification races in the morning and Finals in the afternoon.
The competition terrain is typical campus including some intricate areas with level changes.
Entry to BSC 2024 is open only to members of British Orienteering and to members of overseas IOF-affiliated Federations.
To be eligible to be a British Champion, an individual competitor must on the day immediately preceding the event be a member of British Orienteering, and either:
- be a British citizen,
- or have been a member of British Orienteering in each of the three membership years preceding the year of the competition,
- and must compete in their correct age class, or 'run up' in a lower age class (or older age class for juniors).
Please note that all age classes (18 and over) will have seeded start times based on the 2024 BOF ranking list as it stands when start times are allocated. Highest ranked competitors will start last. Junior classes (up to 16) will have randomly allocated start times within a start block.
