Start - on grassed area above Bradda Glen. GR 190699

Start time is 10.00 with registration for number collection from 8.45 until 9.45

Race Route - The full course visits Milner's Tower and Bradda Hill cairn, dropping to Fleshwick then following the then ascends Lhaittee Ny Bienne then Cronk ny Arrey Laa before dropping through the plantation to the coastal path and Niabyl beach. The return takes the coastal path to Eary Cushlin then reurns along the outward route.  While much of the route follows paths and trods, a combination of mud and slate with steep slopes provides some very technical sections.  Minimum age of entry is 18 years (but runners must turn 19 by 31st December).

Races are held under FRA rules, please read these here . Waterproof whole body cover (trousers and jacket with hood, both with taped seams), hat, gloves, map and compass suitable for navigation, whistle and emergency food must be carried. 

The race is a counter for the Callin Wild Manx Fell Running league. Please note that to be eligible for the league you must join MFR or a suitable IoM athletics club by 18/06/2024, and also cover a marshal slot in 2024.
