Bollihope Carrs is a medium length (BM) fell race, 11km 380m+.
11am start, registration from 10am. Entry on the day will be available at £5 or £6 (non FRA).
The start is from Bollihope Quarry car park, 3km South West of Frosterley in Weardale, Co. Durham.

The races starts west along the river before climbing up rough ground to the summit of Bollihope Carrs, then descending East to the summit of Catterick before a quick descent back to the start.
Full FRA Kit is required. Map (provided), compass, whistle, hat, gloves, waterproof jacket with hood and taped seams, waterproof trousers with taped seams.
Given the terrain and time of year conditions may be challenging and the route may be prone to sudden weather changes - the effect may be significant. Route is unmarked, map and compass navigation will be required in poor visability. No GPS for navigation. No poles to be used.
Limit of 50 entries available due to Natural England restrictions.
