Which Race to Choose????
For the final week we've reopened entries until Thursday night to avoid all the phone calls and emails, but we're adding an extra £10 for our charities to the entry fee to discourage late entry and be fair to those who entered in the planned window. We've a lot on and we do it for free and the good of our community, so I hope you'll understand.
Newlands Memorial Race
We're proudly sponsored again for 50% of the prizes by Pete Bland Sports and this is a counter in the Pete Bland Sports/inov-8 Lakes Grand Prix. The famous PB Van will be at the event.

Registration: Newlands Adventure Centre , Stair, Keswick. CA12 5UF from 0830hrs
You'll get a warm welcome and the traditional post-race beer + online results + split times with Sportident dibbers. Post race food is an optional extra with your entry.. Parking is £5 cash per car that goes to the landowner for his generous use of the parking field. Bike parking is free. Car parking is 400m from registration. We want to be good neighbours, so please don't park inconsiderately in the local community. There is no other nearby parking.
Tea/coffee/cakes are available for a donation to the race charities from 0900hrs. If you are a baker and you can produce some pre or post race cakes, then they will be greatly received. The Team will be at Registration to receive food donations.
To keep our carbon footprint down and to improve the funding available for charitable donations, we ask you to bring a cup for post race water. We will have plastic/paper cups, but we would rather not use them and create waste.
We endeavour to put a great race on for you while continuing to make money for worthy charities. All profits are split between the local community and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
If you feel the entry price is too high and preventing you entering, message me and lets find a way to get you racing.
Yours in Sport,
Les Barker
