The Castleblayney 5km road race, sponsored by McMahons Supervalu, returns. This race takes place on the same measured route as previous years on a fast course with closed roads to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for all.
All finishers will receive branded snood and there will be category prizes for male and female finishers. The race will start at the front of the Glencarn Hotel at 2pm with registration and number pick up on the day of the race in the adjacent Glencarn Town Centre.
There is also a junior 2km race at 2.05pm for U14's and will be run on part of the 5km route with finishers gifts and category prizes for male and female runners.
We look forward to welcoming all runners back to Castleblayney and we will ensure that everyone gets a warm cup of tea and a well deserved treat after the run.
