LET US MAKE YOUR CHALLENGE A GRAND DAY OUT

On the Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge you’ll experience a panoramic moorland journey to stand on top of Kinder Scout, Bleaklow and Higher Shelf Stones.

An ideal alternative to our original Peak District 3 Peaks Challenge. This walk is a little shorter and less ascent, the scenery is every bit as spectacular. Also for those with an interest in historic aviation we respectfully visit the B-29 Superfortress, introduced by your guide and former aerospace engineer, Stu Westfield. We start and finish the day at our home base in the picturesque village of Hayfield. Plus this walk is fully supported, so you enjoy the experience carrying far less weight. You’ll be accompanied by professional local guides and the on-route support team serves a selection of refreshments with hot and cold drinks, at lunch and mid-afternoon. All included in the price.

We take care of all your walk logistics for the day.
All you need to do is arrive at the meeting point, with your walking gear, drink and snacks to keep you fueled until lunchtime.

Join us for a fun, achievable challenge and a great day in the hills.

If you choose to raise money for charity as part of the Derbyshire 3 Peaks Challenge, this is great. The price you pay is for the professional event organisation and guiding. There’s no minimum sponsorship, hidden fees etc, hence all the money you raise is for you to donate to your chosen cause.

SAFETY & OTHER MATTERS

Ranger Expeditions’ Derbyshire 3 Peaks Challenge is a guided walk and larger groups will have several guides to look after you on the trail. If at any time you feel unwell during the trek, please let us know.

Unsurprisingly, there are no toilets on the hills, but there are plenty of discrete places for a call of nature. Do let one of our guides know if you move away from the trail for any reason. We encourage folks to mingle and enjoy their day, but please do not move ahead or out of sight of your guide. If you do find yourself separated, remain where you are and call the duty number given out at the start of the walk.

Photography: We often have a photographer on our events. Complimentary photos of your day with us are made available to download via our social media platform. If you do not want your photograph to be taken please let us know on the day so we can respect your wishes.

GDPR: As part of our duty of care to you, we need to hold your contact details and any medical declarations (in-confidence) for the build-up and duration of the walk. These will not be passed on to any third parties and will be carefully disposed of afterwards.

Dogs: We love our four-legged friends. But for practical reasons, we’re sorry dogs are not permitted on this challenge.
