The Hardwolds 80 will be run on the 23rd-24th November 2024. The Hardwolds 80 route follows the Wolds Way from Hessle to Filey passing through chalk landscapes with dry valleys and stunning wildlife alongside market Towns and ancient  villages such as Brantingham, Londesborough, Thixendale and the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy, before arriving at the seaside resort of Filey.

Competitors will have 24 hours to complete the 80 miles.

REGISTRATION AND START
The Race will commence on Saturday 23rd November at 8am. There will be a coach service available for any runners who want to park their vehicles in Filey and be transported  to the race start at Hessle (£22.50).

FOOD AND DRINKS

Each competitor is allowed 2 non-returnable drop bags (food etc). There will be water available at every manned checkpoint and food at various other checkpoints. Including hot drinks and hot food at indoor checkpoints

Trackers
All Hardwolds 80 competitors will receive a tracker (included in the 80 race entry fee)
Trackers will give out competitors locations at any time online. A huge bonus for safety reasons and handy for race crews to detect where their runners are on the route and when to 'brew up' ready for their arrival.

Competitors will have 24 hours to complete the 80 miles.

Competitors may run with a support crew or run unsupported.  A drop bag system similar to the Hardmoors 55 & 60 will be in place to make special dietary requirements easier for the competitor to obtain .

On finishing the race competitors will receive a race medal and a finishers T. Shirt.
