The Singlespeed UK Championships is heading to the South West for September 2024! Camping and racing will be based on a beautiful private estate on the edge of the Quantock Hills in Somerset.
Once again, a fun full weekend of riding singlespeed mountain bikes, good food, live music, entertainment and some trade stands.
The race format is a male/female solo category and will be a 3 hour Saturday afternoon race but it's not just about winning, as there will be spot prizes for things like best fancy dress, least appropriate bike and much more...
There will various bike related activities taking place on the Friday night and Saturday, along with an under 18's race at the campsite on the Saturday.
There are also opportunities to take the time to enjoy the local area. You can ride/push(!) up and along the Quantock Hills from the event location. Furthermore, there are local outdoor providers in nearby Minehead and Taunton who offer SUP and Kayak hire and guiding.
Children are welcome and actively encouraged to torment riders !
All proceeds to Exmoor Mountain Rescue, Quantock Quickriders and an additional charity, yet to be confirmed...

Anyone staying on site needs to book camping. This includes 2 nights (Fri/Sat) along with use of site facilities, which includes toilets, showers (hopefully!) and some local pop up food/coffee vans.
- Camping charges are applicable to all, regardless of whether you are staying in a tent, camper, car, van, motorhome or bivi etc.
- Camping only option does not include food or goody bag
- Non racing entry is for spectators (including children) and includes Saturday food and gift
Note: The event takes place on a private estate with spring fed water (no mains connection), so please be as self-sufficient as possible. There is a brewery, pubs, take-aways and a Co-Op in the nearby village of Bishops Lydeard, which is a short cycle ride away. Please bring a quality lock and ensure your bike is secured at all times.
For those travelling by alternative means, the event location is less than 7 miles from Taunton train station along fairly flat country lanes and is also close to the Taunton/Bridgwater canal.
