BL High Pike Long O

 

Terrain: Runability is generally reasonable – a mixture of grass, tussocks and heather, but very little bracken. It includes old mine workings and areas of contour detail. Very Short and Super Short do not go into areas of tussocks or heather, but do include some moderately steep slopes

 

>  Long 18.1km, 780m climb

>  Medium 11.8km, 540m climb

>  Short 7.9km, 350m climb 

>  Very Short 5.4km, 200m climb

>  Super Short 3.6km, 130m climb

 

Map: 1:12,500 for Long and Medium. 1:10,000 for Short, Very Short and Super Short

 

Entries: Close Wednesday 13th September. Some late entry will be available subject to map availability but you must contact the organisers ( [email protected] ) in advance to confirm. There will be no entry on the day.

 

Start Times: 10:00 – 12:00, but those on the long course should start before 11am (unless you know you are very fast!).

 

Courses Close: 3:30

 

Dogs: Unfortunately not allowed on courses this year. Permitted, on leads, in car park.

 

Pairs: You are very welcome to run as a pair.

 

Refreshments: Free tea and cake at the finish
