A new circular route on the footpaths and bridleways in rural North West Essex and North East Herts, visiting the hamlet of Chatter End and the villages of Brent Pelham, Clavering, Berden, Quendon, and Ugley Green.
Venue: St Johns Church Hall, Memorial Gardens, Chapel Hill, Stansted Mountfichet, CM24 8JP (GR TL 512250).
Distance: 26 miles
Start times: walkers from 8:00am, runners from 9:00am. All to finish by 5:00pm.
Two checkpoints Brent Pelham (11.6 miles) Quendon (20.7 miles)
Costs include hot/cold drinks at start, plus snacks/sandwiches at checkpoints, and meal at finish. Certificate to all finishers.
Entry limit 160. Entries close Sunday 31st December 2023 or earlier if limit reached.
Entries are not transferable.
No entries on the day.
No refunds after 31st December 2023 unless the event is cancelled.
No dogs.
All entrants to bring a mug.
Minimum age 16, under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
