This event is aimed at members who need to complete a qualifying event to enter the Speyside Hundred in 2024 and those who have not completed a challenge event which involves walking at night.

Entry is limited to 50 people. Please do not enter this event if you have already qualified for the Speyside 100. But do contact the organiser. If there are spaces available once all first time entrants and qualifiers have entered, the event will be opened up on a first come first served basis until the entry limit is reached.

Entrants must be able to read a map and follow compass bearings and must have sufficient knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills to take part in this walk in all conditions and especially in the event of bad weather.

The route is covered by the OS Explorer maps (1:25,000) 114 Exeter & the Exe Valley and115 Exmouth & Sidmouth 

Certificates will be given on the day to all those who complete the walk.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE EVENT RULES which can be downloaded from the event page.

ALL ENTRANTS MUST DOWNLOAD A FULL ROUTE DESCRIPTION from C&D LDWA Website, print it and take it to the event. 

PLEASE BRING A MUG as none will be provided on the day.

 Route descriptions and gpx files will be available at least ten days before the event, on the C&D LDWA website, after they have been checked by group members.
