Following The Dales Way from Bowness-on-Windermere via Burneside, Sedbergh, Dent, Camhouses, Outershaw, Beckermonds, Buckden, Kettlewell Grassington, Burnsall, Bolton Abbey & Addingham to Ilkley then picking up on the Dales Way Link to Saltaire and Bradford Cathedral then returning to Saltaire to the Start of the Dales High Way, which then goes to Addingham, Skipton, Settle, over Ingleborough & the Shoulder of Whernside into Dent, Sedbergh, over the Howgills (via The Calf), Wath, Great Asby, Appleby-in-Westmoreland. Then the twist in the tail up to the awesome High Cup Nick before returning to Appleby for an epic journey. Ninety Six hours to complete 200 miles of the most breathtaking views and brutal trails England has to offer with over 25000ft of ascent! It is the epitome of Beauty and the Beast. Your Destiny awaits...

Registration: Bowness-on-Windermere (The Glebe) from 07:15 – 08:15. LA23 3HE

Kit list: You are expected to always carry the following during the race. Failure to do so may result in time penalties or disqualification, at the discretion of the Race Directors whose decision is final.

• Drinking Cup (we do not provide plastic cups at checkpoints) Must be non-collapsible if you want hot drinks.
• 500 ml water/energy drink
• Energy Bar/Nutrition
• Hat/Buff
• Head Torch
• Whistle
• Waterproof jacket with taped seams
• Emergency blanket
• Gloves
• Hard copy of the Map/Route description (see website for details)
• Mobile phone (with the race director’s numbers – 07950 008005 & 07702 021156 stored in it in case of emergencies). Your phone should be left switched on
• Charging cable for phone and power bank.

This is the standard kit for all races, but please check the website for the specific race in case there are any special requirements due to the weather etc.

Trackers: All entrants will be supplied with a tracker and a weblink will be provided during the week prior to the race, where runners and friends and family can watch your progress during the race.

Checkpoints: TBC Each checkpoint has water, coke, energy bars & crisps.

Finish: Moot Hall, Appleby-in-Westmoreland

Every finisher receives a medal , framed certificate, Special Destiny 200 Finishers memento & Clothing and a goodie bag.
