We’ve teamed up with the OMM Festival to bring you one epic weekend for all!
Grasmere Gallop has teamed up with the OMM Festival for an epic outdoor weekend in the Lake District.
The weekend will have a variety of events to whet the appetite of first time racers and seasoned vets alike. There is an event to suit every age and ability, from the teddy bear dash to fully waymarked trail races and the adventure trail races of the OMM Lite, whether you are looking to challenge yourself or enjoy a fun run out.
With catering and bar on site, experts on hand for kit and event queries, skills workshops, guest speakers, great shopping opportunities from OMM and Pete Bland Sports, plus camping available all weekend; come and enjoy the trails of the Lake District.

Giant heated marquee – Bar & Food all weekend – Camping – Kids teddy bear dash – Kit shop and running advice – Physiotherapy/massage – Talk to the experts – Guest Speakers – Family friendly – Post race food – biking, walking and running routes on the doorstep.
Grasmere Gallop will take place on Saturday 1st June 2024 with all races starting at 11:30am and Sunday 2nd June 2024 with the Marathon starting at 07:30am.
Grasmere Gallop offers 2 days of fully waymarked trail running and nordic walking for all the family. Choose from a 5.7k, 10k or 17k trail run or 10k Nordic walk on Saturday or step up to the Trail Marathon on Sunday (entries here), all set in the spectacular surroundings of Grasmere and Rydal Water in the Lake District National Park, a World Heritage Site.
All Saturday Gallop finishers receive the bespoke Grasmere Gallop wooden medal, all Marathon finishers receive the bespoke Grasmere Gallop slate medal, free event photographs and more importantly, cake... There are various prize categories in all events.
The Grasmere Gallop Teddy Dash is open to teddy bears (and other animals) of any age accompanied by an under 5. Registration is £1, on the day, with all finishers receiving a medal and lollipop.
The Competitor Notes, which detail all the On the Day event information, will be available to download once entries have closed on Sunday 26th May 2024.
