The Summer Turkey Trot is a 4 mile road race starting at Tricky’s Restaurant and Bar, near Redruth in Cornwall, organised by Cornwall Athletic Club and is Round 9 in the Cornwall Grand Prix Series. The race starts at 7.30pm.

Race HQ is Tricky's Hotel, Bar and Restaurant, Tolgus Mount, Redruth TR15 3TA
Registration will be from 5.30pm in the Garden Room at Tricky’s.
Minimum age 15.
Pre Entries must collect their number and timing chip ankle tag on the day. Race numbers must not be folded, cut or mutilated in any way.
No entries or swops on the day.
Parking is available at Tricky's. A baggage store will be provided in the Garden Room.
Race Categories
1st Male and Female - £50 Move Cornwall Physio Voucher
2nd Male and Female - £30 Whirlwind Sports Voucher
3rd Male and Female - £25 Whirlwind Sports Voucher
1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female Under 20, Under 35 and Vets: 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 & 75+
1st 4 Male Teams (6 to count) and 1st 4 Female Teams (6 to count)
Presentations will take place at Tricky’s as soon as possible after the race.
All finishers will receive an event memento. Spot prizes, kindly provided by Whirlwind Sports and the Association of Running Clubs, will also be handed out at the finish!
Chip Timing
The race will be chip timed however all placings will be awarded using gun to chip time. Timing chips will be worn on the ankle and must be returned at the end of the race.
MP3 Players
As this race is part of the Cornwall Grand Prix series it is required to implement certain series race rules. Following a decision made by the Cornwall Road Running Group all MP3 players and personal audio devices are banned whilst running in this race for reasons of health & safety, both yours and other competitors. When you wear such a device you are unable to hear other competitors, cars, bicycles or marshal’s instructions. Marshals will be placed around the route who will be noting any individuals wearing personal audio devices. If you are found to be wearing such a device you will be disqualified from the race.
Please also note that dogs, wheelchairs, wheeled carriages and cycles are banned and competitors cannot be accompanied or followed, either on foot or by vehicular conveyance of any description.
Transfers
If you are unable to run you can transfer the entry to another runner up until midnight on 30th June.
