A tough, high moor route around Saddleworth Moor visiting 10 local Reservoirs. Each participant must navigate themselves around the route, visiting each checkpoint in the correct order.
Registration: Opens at 7am
Start Times: Early Start - 8am ; Race - 9am.

Distance: 26 miles
Ascent: 4273 feet
Event Fees: include food and drink at 3 roadside checkpoints plus hot meal at the end. SPORTident timing with live results. Certificate and Badge upon request.
All participants must carry the following equipment:
- Whole waterproof body cover
- Hat and Gloves
- Spare long sleeve Top
- Paper map of the route; compass and whistle
- Simple first aid kit (plasters; bandage etc)
- Plastic mug (no cups provided at road checkpoints).
- Extra food and water
- Other suitable equipment/clothing for the weather on the day.
GPS devices are allowed Note that the route is not flagged (except for the small section of SSSI land) and so will require navigational skills. Participants must follow the advertised route due to access issues over the moors and visit all the checkpoints in the correct order. Final details for the event will be sent via email the week before the event.
Age limit for the race is 18. Under 18's can take part in the early start. Dogs are allowed on the early start only, but must remain on a lead at all times.
