The Glaisdale Fell Race will take place on Wednesday 31st May 2023.
Registration will be confirmation and collection of numbers only, strictly no entries on the day.
Registration will take place from 17.30 at the Arncliffe Arms in Glaisdale the race will start at 19:00.
The course is approximately 8.5 miles long with circa 1850 ft of elevation. Around Glaisdale Rigg which gives terrific views across the North Yorkshire Moors.
The last mile or so is a lovely descent down an old green lane leading off of Snowdon Nab, then there should be a little water splash to clean your boots before finishing at the Arncliffe Arms.
Teams are able to run 3 for ladies and 4 for gents. Over 18s only
Limited to 100 competitors, strictly no entries on the day. Location for parking TBC competitors will be notified nearer the time. Please do not park within the village.
FRA guidelines will be followed during the event as such competitors must adhere to rules regarding FRA
BM category Fell Races. Although the mandatory kit is unnecessary for this race, competitors should carry at least a waterproof jacket,500ml of fluid and 120g of food.
The cost is £5 for FRA members, membership number will be required for registration, Non-Membership is £6
The race will form part of the Esk Valley Fell Summer series.
