- Iconic ‘Summer Sessions’ beach start
- Unique running on the ridge-line of the Rumps Headland
- Brilliant coast-path running around the tip of Pentire Head
This is possibly our favourite route and has ‘Summer Sessions’ written all over it! Starting and finishing on one of the best beaches in Cornwall, the 10k trail race then does a loop of Pentire headland on the coastpath. This includes the landmark Rumps headland that feels like you’re right out in the Atlantic and has some fun scrambly sections.
At Pentire Point you turn for home and run one of THE best sections of coastpath we have found so far; with open views out to sea, across Padstow Bay and Polzeath beach you run sweet singletrack along the coast of North Cornwall and re-join the beach! Race Route Map Here!
