The 1886 Triathlon Weekend (run by the Manx Tri Club) is an individual race on the Saturday (13th May) and team relay on Sunday (14th May)

Swim is in Ramsey Pool with the option for individual entrants of 400 metre (16 lengths) or 750 metre (30 lengths) distances.  400 metre swim is very much recommended for first time triathletes/less confident swimmers.  For teams swim is 750 metres only.

Bike is the same distance for all entrants at 20k (12.4 miles) 1 lap course following the coast road out to Bride and then back to Ramsey.

Run is also the same distance for all at 5k (3.1 miles) and is around Mooragh Park and then down Mooragh Promenade to the finish.

The Sunday is an opportunity to get a team together of friends or colleagues (minimum 2 members per team) without having to do all 3 disciplines. A fantastic introduction to triathlon with the emphasis is on taking part and having fun.

All participants must be at least 15 years old (as at 31st December 2023)
