The 10@Kirroughtree is back again from the Galloway Hillbillies Bike Club. The event will run as it has in the past, as many laps in 10 hours as you can manage, with an extra hour that must be started by 18.30 and must be finished by 19,30 to count. the highlight being Kirroughtree's fantastic singletrack (and some natural of course) winding its way around the Galloway Forest Park, and a few new specific Trophies for 2023
The usual entry options are there, solos and teams of 2 or 3 in Senior, Vets and Grand Vets.
Male/Female Solo & Male/Female/Mixed Team Categories:
- Senior/Open
- Veteran/40+
- Grand Veteran/50+
E-bike Categories (only for E-bikes limited to 15.5mph only, no derestricted e-bikes allowed):
- Male/Female Solo
- Male/Female/Mixed Open Teams
New Trophies for 2023
- All solos that complete 100 miles of the course (i.e. 10 x 10mile laps) will receive a 10@Kirroughtree 100mile club trophy (excluding E-bikes this year)
- A King And Queen of the mountain Trophy for the quickest time on a specific uphill section of the 10@ Kirroughtree course (excluding E-bikes this year)
- Enduro King and Queen trophy on one of the natural sections that we have at the 10@Kirroughtree every year (excluding E-bikes this Year)
Galloway Hillbillies Bike Club are an enthusiastic group of mountain bikers based at Kirroughtree, we run events on a non profit basis.
Entrants wishing to withdraw must inform the organiser by email. Entry fees will be refunded as follows:
Up to one month before the event date, cost of entry minus £5.
Within one month of the event date no refunds available.
Transfer of entry is available within the month before the event date. This must be done by email.
Entrants must be aged 14 or over.
Registration will be on Friday 14th July at 6pm-8pm and Saturday 15th July 7am-8am.
Race Start 8.30am
Pre Race meal on Friday 14th July 6pm-8pm - £5 per person please book when making your entry.
Camping available for the weekend - please book when making your entry. Gates open on Friday 14th July at 12 midday.
