A Spectacular Fell race suitable for most abilities with 365m (1200ft) of climbing and well marked route. This event is held in conjunction with the Austwick Street Market, a traditional village event with free entertainments, planty of food stalls and many other stalls to make this a great day out, not just a fell race.
Senior race start time is 1:00pm.
Junior races are also held, for 8 to 18 year olds, with overall and age group prizes awarded:
- 11:20am - U11 2km;
- 11:45am - U13 2.5km;
- 12:15pm - U15 3.2km;
- 12:15pm - U17 & U19 (4.3km).
Ages at following 31st December. Entrants to the U11 race must be aged 8 or over on the day of the race.
Competitors must be over 18 to enter the senior race.
Please note that this year there are £50 bonuses on offer to any senior runner breaking the men or womens course record. This is in addition to the £30 prizes for race winners. The current records are: Men 48:37& Women 56:03.
