Welcome to THE LAP - Clockwise.
Just keep the big lake on your right.
THE LAP is a beautiful 47 mile fully signposted ultra, on some of the most stunning and runnable trails in The Lake District.
• Open to both runners and walkers
• 2,000 route marking arrows
• GPS Tracker, map and GPX provided
• 5 fully stocked and feed stations
• Halfway aid/feed station with bag drop
• Finishers meal whatever time you cross the line

Taking in all the best viewpoints, you will have 24 hours to circumnavigate England's largest and most iconic lake.
The perfect entry level ultra. Open to runners and walkers, fully way-marked and with generous cut-offs; it makes a great introduction to longer races, or a fast low level option for experienced racers.
You will have 24 hours to circumnavigate England's largest and most iconic lake, taking in all the best view points on some of the most beautiful trails The Lake District has to offer.
The route is predominantly on tracks, trail and single track, with some steeper fell paths and the occasional short sections of quiet country road.
This is a low level route and an ideal introduction to ultra distance, and we can go ahead whatever the weather!
A recce GPX file of the route is attached to the entry confirmation email, and the event GPX with special permissive routes will be sent out in the final email before the event.
